Why Serve?

Opportunities That Exist At & Through Ada Bible Church

You hear us talk about serving a lot at Ada Bible. We believe serving is important because God created, gifted and called us to serve. Jesus modeled service for us, so you might say serving is core to being a Jesus-follower. Serving helps us grow in our faith and is how we as a church bless our local and worldwide communities.

Serving Steps

Serving FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions about Serving.

Still have a question? Send us an email.

  • How often will I serve?

Volunteers are vital to helping Ada Bible run smoothly in our ministries and at events. You can work with each ministry team to serve as often as you like. We encourage anyone interested in volunteering to consider serving at least once a month.

  • I signed up to serve but it’s not the right fit. Can you help me?

We always want to fit your skills and passions to the right serving opportunity. If the serving opportunity doesn’t fit , we have many other opportunities where you can serve. Speak to your volunteer leader or email us so we can talk about it and find a spot to better fit your time and/or skills.

  • What happens when I sign up to volunteer?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. (1) You will need to fill out a volunteer interest form. (2) Someone from our staff will reach out to get to know you better and hear more about where you want to serve. We will also share our vision about the importance of serving at Ada Bible. (3) We will move forward in finding you the right place to volunteer.
